About EyeOnWales

EyeOnWales is a blog developed over the last year, commenting on politics and culture in Wales. A mixture of debate and commentary, EyeOnWales looked to consider all aspects of life in Wales today, though occasionally wandering into other themes as well.

In the last six months we have been pleased to start taking contributions from a wider base of authors. If you have something related to Wales that you would like to contribute, please do get in touch.

  1. Hi,

We would like to thank you for your interest in our straw bale hotel.
As you can see, construction works are still on, but we think we’ll be ready for opening in October this year.

We wish you a Happy New Year and a lot of visits on your blog.

    Greetings from Switzerland

    • A Happy New Year to you too, looks a fascintating project – will look forward to following your progress through the year!

  2. Thank you for your comment on my site – I NEVER would have gotten ‘pull-th gway lod’ from Pwllgwaelod. Loved our time in your country and would love to return, this time to see the north.

    • Very welcome. It takes a bit of practice, and getting to grips with those double letters takes its time! Hope you enjoy the North, some great landscapes to be enjoyed up that way, hope you have a great time on any future visits! 🙂

  3. Just found your sight! Looking forward to reading! Thanks!

    • Many thanks back – on holiday at the moment so no activity for about a week, but plenty on the return!

  4. Hi! I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award!

    • Many thanks 🙂 I’m not entirely sure what that is – I must do some research – but my sincere thanks nonetheless!

  5. My son went to Atlantic College in Wales, and we visited him while he was there. It is a ruggedly beautiful country!
